Our sales team sells directly to program buyers in the United States as well as territories throughout the world. Establishing individual contacts with buyers maximizes revenue for producers. In some territories we have generated more returns from an independent film with no cast than the studios have with a blockbuster movie. 
We contact every Producer with the details of each deal as we close it. This way they always know where their program has sold and the specific terms of every deal. Communication with the Producers remains one of our utmost priorities. 
All too often Producers are charged outrageous amounts under the guise "Promotional Expenses". At Koan, all promotional expenses are thoroughly accounted for and are agreed to beforehand. We offer honest feedback, expectations, projections and we consistently live up to those expectations.
